Ointment with zinc No.30
Highly effective zinc to dry out weeping skin areas, spots and pustules.
Thanks to the anti-microbial properties of zinc, the ointment works disinfecting and anti-inflammatory and dries out weeping, damaged or irritated skin areas. Our Ointment with zinc No.30 helps to improve the appearance of the skin in case of spots and pimples during puberty and also helps to take care of babies' nappy area.
Additionally our lacto-intensive active complex has a normalizing effect; organic sunflower oil, organic jojoba oil and organic bees wax make the skin more supple and at the same time provide for an easy application which is much easier than in case of classical pastes with 10 % zinc.

Zinc oxide is extracted from purified zinc ore. It has a high opacity and reflects visible light. It is anti-inflammatory, astringent and antiseptic and dries out slightly weeping skin areas. Zinc oxide is classically used in baby care, in case of impure and oily skin or inflamed skin. (Picture credits: ©Arne Bramsen/123rf.com)
Lacto-intensive active complex
By means of a special process fresh organic whey is being fermented. As a base of nearly all BIOTURM products, the fermented organic whey normalises the skin’s flora and the acid mantle by the ingredients contained. Natural lactic acid, essential amino acids, trace elements etc. are well absorbed by the skin and normalise the skin's moisture level.
Under “special ingredients -> lacto-intensive active complex” you will find more information about it.
Beeswax is produced by honeybees (Apis mellifera) by secretion from their wax glands and is used to build their honeycomb cells. After extraction of the honey, the combs are melted in water. Afterwards the solidified melt is taken off. This procedure is repeated several times and afterwards the wax is physically bleached and poured into pastilles. Beeswax is a very well tolerated fatty component and consists to 35 until 70 % of fatty acid esters. It serves as a consistency regulator and low emulsifier in ointments, creams, lipsticks etc. and forms a delicate protective film on the skin which has a calming effect especially in case of dry, chapped and irritated skin.
