However, normal shower gels and soaps have a much higher pH value than the intimate flora can tolerate. As long as the woman is healthy, the body may tolerate this well without unpleasant reactions being the result. Our lacto-intensive active complex is made of organic whey; with its acid pH value (3 to 4) it is ideal to preserve the natural intimate flora. It is highly concentrated in the BIOTURM intimate care products and besides natural lactic acid it also contains lactates, free amino acids and trace elements developping during natural fermentation of organic whey with lactic acid bacteria.
