No matter how far the distance is that you would like to walk: going on a pilgrimage always means a particular challenge for body and mind and needs a very special intensive preparation. Hiking or pilgrimage tours of several days are also a physical challenge because nowadays people are not used to walk and carry loads at the same time. Support items are needed that do not take not much space and have low weight but which offer the highest benefit.

The combination of high-quality oils and traditional healing herbs has a calming effect and stimulates metabolism. This effect makes the Pilgrim oil offering a complete care program in one product:

As preventive care, the Pilgrim oil provides for a smoother skin and helps to avoid blisters.
Tensions are relaxed when using the oil for a massage (also on the way).
After sport activities, the oil improves heavily stressed parts of the body like shoulder, back, legs or feet.

The Pilgrim oil has been developed by Martin Evers on his pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. He tested it intensively during his second pilgrimage from the Westerwald to Rome (2009) on more than 2,000 kilometres.

Areas of application:

For preparation of feet (in order to avoid blisters) before great or long-distance physical challenges as well as for daily massage of the whole musculoskeletal system.
For pilgrimage, hiking, walking, running etc.

Application:

Use several times per day.
In case of planned physical challenge, start with daily use even several weeks before the challenge. Also continue during challenge twice per day.

For a soothing massage, apply to the area to be treated or stressed and massage the body part under gentle pressure.

No matter if during gardening (protection against calluses and blisters), during cycling or running (protection against chafe marks) - the Organic bag balm no.34 makes the skin smooth and supple for more resistance. The allround care for highly stressed skin - of course without paraffin! - contains organic beeswax and organic shea butter and thus creates a caring protective layer on the skin. The balm is ideal also during cold weather or winter sports: the anhydrous texture avoids freezing of humidity on the skin and protects the skin against temperature loss. The cooling and stimulating care with the power of arnica is also particularly suitable to treat blunt injuries (bruises) for a quick recovering.The organic arnica extract stimulates the metabolism and works regenerating. Menthol provides for a pleasant cooling and thus a fresh feeling. Due to the special lacto-intensive active complex, the lotion cares for the skin in an excellent way.Areas of application: Regeneration of stressed muscles (tired legs from long standing activities, overstrained muscles after sports) or for preparation of muscles for unusual or heavy strain.
